شاطئ للا رحمة: جوهرة ساحلية في أصيلة
يأخذ شاطئ للا رحمة اسمه من ضريح للا رحمة الواقع في قلب الحي التاريخي الذي يحمل نفس الاسم. يُعتبر هذا الحي من أقدم أحياء مدينة أصيلة، وهو معروف بأسواره البرتغالية التي تطوّق المدينة القديمة وتشهد على تاريخها الغني.
يجاور هذا الشاطئ الصخري المعلم البرتغالي الشهير «الكريكيا»، الذي يجذب العديد من السياح للاستمتاع بالإطلالة البانورامية على المحيط الأطلسي، خاصة في لحظات غروب الشمس الساحرة.

لطالما كان هذا الشاطئ مزارًا لسكان الحي، لكنه اليوم يشهد انتعاشًا جديدًا بفضل توسع الحي وإضافة مرافق مثل مقهى ومطعم «دايا» الذي يوفر لزواره إطلالة رائعة على البحر وغروب الشمس مع أجواء متنوعة تشمل الموسيقى والأنشطة الترفيهية.

La playa Lalla Rahma debe su nombre al mausoleo de Lalla Rahma, situado en pleno corazón del barrio histórico que lleva el mismo nombre. Este antiguo barrio de Asilah es famoso por sus murallas portuguesas que rodean la medina, testimonio de su rico pasado.
Junto al célebre monumento portugués Al Krekeya, la playa es principalmente rocosa. Este lugar atrae a numerosos turistas que vienen a disfrutar de la vista panorámica del Atlántico, especialmente en el momento privilegiado del atardecer.

Durante mucho tiempo fue un espacio frecuentado por los habitantes del barrio, pero hoy el lugar vive un nuevo auge. El barrio ha crecido y cuenta ahora con infraestructuras como el café-restaurante Daya, que ofrece a sus visitantes una excelente vista al mar y a la mágica puesta de sol, acompañada de variadas ambientaciones, animaciones y música.

Lalla Rahma Beach takes its name from the mausoleum of Lalla Rahma, located in the heart of the historic district that bears the same name. This old quarter of Asilah is famous for its Portuguese ramparts that encircle the medina, a testament to its rich history.
Adjacent to the famous Portuguese monument Al Krekeya, the beach is mostly rocky. It draws many tourists who come to admire the panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, especially during the privileged moment of sunset.

Long a favorite spot for local residents, Lalla Rahma Beach is now experiencing a new boom. The neighborhood has expanded and is home to new facilities, such as the Daya café-restaurant, which offers visitors an outstanding view of the sea and the magical sunset, accompanied by varied atmospheres, entertainment, and music.

يحمل شاطئ للا رحمة في طياته تاريخًا عميقًا مرتبطًا ارتباطًا وثيقًا بمدينة أصيلة. كان الصيادون التقليديون يترددون على هذا المكان ويعتبرونه صديقًا وفيًا، حيث يعبرون فيه عن حبهم للبحر ويضمنون قوت يومهم بما يصطادونه لتلبية احتياجاتهم الغذائية.

ويشتهر هذا الشاطئ أيضًا بوجود مغارة صغيرة تُدعى «الحامة» محفورة في الصخور. فعند المد، تتدفق مياه البحر بقوة داخلها، فتحدث أمواجًا تنفجر في الداخل وتقذف المياه نحو الخارج. وكان أهل أصيلة قديماً يأخذون المرضى النفسيين إلى هناك ويمسكون بأيديهم ليدخلوهم إلى المغارة، معتقدين أن الخوف الذي يشعرون به أمام عنف الأمواج يشفيهم من أمراضهم العقلية.

وفي سبعينيات وثمانينيات القرن الماضي، كان سكان أصيلة يقصدون هذا الشاطئ أيضًا بعد عيد الأضحى لغسل جلود الأضاحي.

أما اليوم، فقد أصبح هذا المكان فضاءً لتأمل غروب الشمس ومسرحًا لتجارب فنية. ففي وقت الغروب، يتحول الموقع إلى مسرح حقيقي للظلال والأضواء، حيث تُعبر الأجساد بحركات عفوية عن فنون أدائية أمام قرص الشمس الآفل، وتوثق الصور الفوتوغرافية هذه اللحظات العابرة التي يصبح فيها المتفرج أحيانًا فنانًا في عمله الخاص، مما يخلق مواقف فنية فريدة ومتنوعة.

La playa de Lalla Rahma encierra una historia profunda estrechamente ligada a la ciudad de Asilah. Antiguamente, los pescadores tradicionales acudían con frecuencia a este lugar, al que consideraban un amigo fiel. Allí expresaban su amor por el mar y aseguraban su sustento, encontrando el alimento necesario para vivir.

Esta playa también es conocida por su pequeña cueva, la famosa Hamma, excavada en las rocas. Con la marea alta, el agua del mar penetra con fuerza en su interior, generando olas que estallan dentro y expulsan el agua hacia fuera. En tiempos pasados, se llevaba allí a personas con trastornos psicológicos, tomándolas de la mano para introducirlas en la cueva, creyendo que el miedo provocado por la violencia de las olas curaba sus males mentales.

Durante los años 70 y 80, los habitantes de Asilah también acudían a esta playa después del Aïd el-Kébir para limpiar allí las pieles de las ovejas sacrificadas.

Hoy en día, este lugar se ha convertido en un espacio para contemplar la puesta de sol y en un escenario para la experimentación artística. Al atardecer, el lugar se transforma en un auténtico teatro de luces y sombras. Los cuerpos se expresan espontáneamente, realizando gestos artísticos frente al sol poniente, mientras la fotografía inmortaliza estos instantes efímeros en los que, a menudo, el propio espectador se convierte en actor de su propia obra, creando así múltiples situaciones artísticas singulares.

Autrefois, les pêcheurs traditionnels fréquentaient assidûment ce lieu, qu’ils considéraient comme un ami fidèle. C’est ici qu’ils exprimaient leur amour pour la mer et assuraient leur gagne-pain, en y trouvant de quoi subvenir à leurs besoins alimentaires.

Cette plage est aussi connue pour une petite grotte, la fameuse Hamma, creusée à même les rochers. À marée haute, l’eau de mer s’y engouffre avec force, provoquant des vagues qui explosent à l’intérieur et projettent l’eau vers l’extérieur. Jadis, on y emmenait des personnes souffrant de troubles psychologiques. On les tenait par la main pour les amener à l’intérieur de la grotte, et la frayeur ressentie face à la violence des vagues était censée les guérir de leurs maux mentaux.

Dans les années 1970-1980, les habitants d’Asilah se rendaient aussi sur cette plage après l’Aïd el-Kébir pour y nettoyer les peaux de moutons.

Aujourd’hui, cet endroit est devenu un espace d’appréciation du coucher du soleil, mais aussi un terrain d’expérimentation artistique. Au crépuscule, le site se transforme en un véritable théâtre d’ombres et de lumières. Les corps s’y mettent en scène de façon spontanée, exécutant des gestes artistiques face au soleil couchant. Des photographies capturent ces instants éphémères où le spectateur, parfois, devient lui-même acteur de sa propre œuvre, créant une multitude de situations artistiques singulières.

Lalla Rahma Beach: between history, tradition and living art

Lalla Rahma Beach carries a deep history closely tied to the city of Asilah. In the past, traditional fishermen often came here, considering this place a faithful friend. It was where they expressed their love for the sea and secured their livelihood, finding food to meet their daily needs.

This beach is also known for a small cave, the famous Hamma, carved into the rocks. At high tide, the sea water rushes powerfully inside, causing waves to explode within and eject water outward. In former times, people would bring individuals suffering from psychological troubles here, holding their hands and guiding them into the cave, believing that the fear induced by the violent waves would heal their mental ailments.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Asilah’s residents also came to this beach after Eid al-Adha to clean the skins of the sacrificed sheep.

Today, this spot has become a place to appreciate sunsets and a stage for artistic experimentation. At dusk, the site transforms into a genuine theater of shadows and light. Bodies spontaneously perform artistic gestures facing the setting sun, captured by photographs that freeze these fleeting moments—where the spectator often becomes an actor in their own creation, giving rise to a multitude of unique artistic situations.
